Ôn tập lý thuyết tính từ ghép
Trước khi làm bài tập, DOL sẽ giúp bạn ôn lại các kiến thức về tính từ ghép nhé.
Tính từ ghép là gì
Tính từ ghép (Compound Adjectives) là các tính từ được ghép lại từ nhiều từ khác nhau thành một từ, đóng vai trò bổ nghĩa cho một danh từ khác.
Cách thành lập Compound adjectives
Trong tiếng Anh, ta có 9 cách thành lập tính từ ghép bao gồm.
Tính từ + Danh từ
Danh từ + V-ing
Danh từ + Tính từ
Danh từ + V3/V-ed
Số + Danh từ số ít
Tính từ + V3/V-ed
Tính từ + V-ing
Trạng từ + V3/V-ed
Danh từ + Danh từ
Lưu ý về dấu gạch nối trong tính từ ghép:
Đối với tính từ ghép chứa số: Ta dùng dấu gạch nối khi thành phần số đứng trước danh từ
Đối với tính từ ghép có chứa tính từ bắt đầu bằng high-, low-, well-, ill-, better-, best-, little-, lesser-:
Ta dùng dấu gạch nối khi tính từ ghép đứng trước danh từ
Ta không dùng dấu gạch nối khi tính từ ghép có vị trí sau danh từ
Khi tính từ ghép bắt đầu bằng trạng từ, ta không cần dùng dấu gạch nối giữa các từ
