Lý thuyết về cấu trúc: Neither nor và either or
Neither… nor và Either… or là đều là liên từ tương quan - là cặp từ nối luôn đi cùng nhau và có chức năng dùng để nối 2 từ, 2 cụm từ hoặc 2 mệnh đề.
Về mặt nghĩa
Neither…nor... nghĩa là "cả hai đều không".
Either… or... nghĩa là "hoặc…hoặc".

Cấu trúc Neither… nor
Neither…nor thể hiện sự phủ định kép trong câu bằng cách: nhấn mạnh 2 người/vật đều không thực hiện hành động nào hay 2 hành động nào đó đều không được thực hiện.
Neither…nor có thể liên kết:
2 từ loại/ cụm từ cùng loại
2 chủ ngữ
2 mệnh đề.
Either…or liên kết 2 từ/ cụm từ cùng loại
Either…or đứng trong câu và nối 2 từ/ cụm từ cùng loại như.
2 (cụm) danh từ (không phải chủ ngữ)
2 đại từ
2 (cụm) động từ
2 (cụm ) tính từ
2 (cụm) trạng từ
2 (cụm) giới từ

Tránh lỗi phủ định kép khi dùng Neither…nor
