Cấu trúc "be supposed to" trong tiếng Anh được sử dụng để diễn tả nghĩa vụ, trách nhiệm, hoặc kỳ vọng đối với một người hoặc sự việc. Dưới đây là tóm tắt về cấu trúc và cách sử dụng:
Cấu trúc chung
S + be (chia theo thì và chủ ngữ) + supposed to + V1 (động từ nguyên mẫu)

Lưu ý.
Trong câu phủ định, thêm "not" sau động từ "be".
Ví dụ: "You are not supposed to park here." (Bạn không được phép đỗ xe ở đây.)
Trong câu nghi vấn, đảo "be" lên trước chủ ngữ.
Ví dụ: "Is he supposed to attend the meeting?" (Anh ấy có phải tham dự cuộc họp không?)
